Due to an increase in business, manufacturer has an opening for a Human Resources professional. This is a full time opening which will report to the facility manager and supervising one individual. In this role you will be overseeing daily HR activities including recruitment of hourly and salaried employees, hr compliance, community involvement, benefits, orientations, workers compensation (BWC) paper work (the company is self insured), safety and OSHA. This position requires presence on the manufacturing floor for all three shifts. Qualified candidates should be forward thinking, able to work independently and on teams, flexible in their job requirements, have project management skills, be outgoing, have a stable work history, good work ethic and not be afraid to communicate at all levels. This is a full time position with excellent benefits.
Requirements for the Human Resources Professional:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
2. A minimum of 3-5 years working in a recent human resources generalist role

The position is responsible for sourcing prototype, pre-production product and tooling, supplier capability audits, supplier capacity studies, supplier quality audits, supplier certification, and supplier startup issue resolution. Overall responsibility to initiate contractual commitments and analyze engineering specifications, design changes and other data to plan parts support activities from conceptual stage through the production launch of the product. Identify and execute material and labor cost reduction and quality improvements for pre-production components and processes through the use of tools such as VAVE, Six Sigma, DFMEAs and PFMEAs.
Candidates must be open to travel up to 25%. This is a full time opening on days. Qualified candidates should be energetic, focused, flexible, approachable, team oriented, able to work with minimal direction and collected.
